This week's Creative Tuesdays' theme is 'picnic.'  I had some laughs at the idea and even now, I think this piece is pretty silly and should not be taken seriously. This is titled, 'color wars.' I had a story about this piece but decided not to post it. Maybe you can makeup a story of what's going on here?

  1. Oh what a unique and fun picnic. I love each of the people and glad you gave a close up of some. The mom and the baby, the kids buried in the books, I could go on and on...each one is a little masterpiece all by it's self. You are truly a clever and talented artist. I love being at your Annual Blue Cow Picnic.

    1. you're invited & you may bring a pie or two, perhaps something blue to match the event. every picnic should have a theme after all.

thanks for coming by, have a lovely day.

  2. Hahaha, wow, Lissa! that is some picnic! Makes me thin kof Yellow Submarine or something. this is great. I particularly enjoyed the pigtail book worm twins which I noticed before seeing your details image following. BTW, what do the book covers say? There are just so many things going on. It's like looking at Where's Waldo? I think I need to visit this a few more times to fully appreciate all the work and love put in here. You and Donna take the biscuit for wildest fun interpretations! Well done. Thank you.

    1. if you zoom on the closeup version you can see the title a bit but they are "What color is your alien?" and "How to color your alien." the three t shirts said, "You are my favorite human," No free hugs" and "Love, Peace, Alien," - it's all about colors and aliens.

I did have fun drawing this and I would have added more but there was not enough time plus, I had to stop or else it would never get finished.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.

  5. I love all the details, Lissa! I would love to be a part of this picnic! I think I would be one of the reading girls and I would definitely have some animals around!
