Gold Spring

"gold spring"

This is for The Summer of Color. This week's color is red + red + metallic.   If I had used real paint, maybe it might be a little different. I couldn't really make metallic gold colors but at least it looks metallic-looking, sort of.

  5. I think it looks very metallic ---if you hadn't mentioned that it wasn't, I wouldn't have know. Besides, photos and scans often make metallics look non-metallic or vise-versa. Very nice with just a hint of reds ---and the concept of the leaves blowing away is unique.

    1. yes, there is more gold than red, but I did sort of have more red in the beginning but then I sort of sidetracked to gold instead, I'm not really sure how it happened but it did.

thanks for your visit, have lovely day.

  10. Another incredibly imaginative piece, Lissa. You could do story boards for films or something. I can imagine this in a Narnia or Tolkein script. Wonderful. I love everything about it. Perfect. And yes, it has that shimmering feel. Well done!

I love it, it looks very much like gold,
and I like the way how the "dress"
flows into the air, making everything
    look golden. :))
    Have a beautiful weekend!
