Zephyr

'zephyr'
This piece is titled 'zephyr' but I'm uncertain now why I picked that name. This was originally started in 2011 and I've only finished this today. So now you know how long I put things off. I think now and there, it's okay to complete something later when it might seems like a better time.

This is for The Summer of Color. This week's color is pink + pink + orange. For more participants, go here.

  4. OOh, I'm going to have to check out the link you provided. thank you! AS it is, love your finally finished piece. It is indeed very summery and colourfiul. Wow, you may put things off, Lissa, but it feels like you've been going full steam a lot lately. Well done. love those pale simple drops against that cornucopia or colour. Great stuff.

    1. actually, this piece is half finished from before and so I was able to finish faster than normal. but I guess I have been doing more than usual. sometimes I seem able to do a lot and other times, not as much.

  6. I love the movement and the flow of coloured 'ribbons' around the face. The soft pastels in the background create harmony with the brighter colours.

  18. Seems that thing we put on the back burner and put off, suddenly surface at the most fortuitous times. This piece you finished in time for this week's SOC challenge is wonderfully true of such beauty and timeliness.

  23. Love this, although I love all your work

I actually do the same with my writing. I start something and then go back to it sometimes years later. I seldom work at something from start to finish.
